It's written all over the bathroom stall at Healy High for everyone to see. Four Healy High students—the girl who has the infamous party, the car accident survivor, the former best friend, and the boy next door—tell all they know. But exactly what is the truth about Alice? In the end there's only one person to ask: Alice herself. I love a good spiderweb story where you get thrown into a plot with little to no detail and as it continues, you get more and more pieces of information that fits together until the web is complete and it all makes sense towards the end. That's basically what this book is. Seeing things from different POV's, both bullies, victims and in-betweeners, was a refreshing twist as well, since we often only get to hear the victim's side of the story when bullying is involved. The downside for me is that the setting of the book is very high school-ish, very American with its cliques, hierarchy, popular girls, gossip etc. It meant that although the book is pretty short, I needed a break from high school hell now and then. A very entertaining read with a refreshing take on a relevant topic. Four Healy High students—the girl who has the infamous party, the car accident survivor, the former best friend, and the boy next door—tell all they know. But exactly what is the truth about Alice? In the end there’s only one person to ask: Alice herself.
